Manistee County Habitat for Humanity, Consumers Energy  to Raise $25,000 for Power of Home Campaign

Energy Provider Will Donate $1 for Every $2 Raised.

April 1st, 2025 –  Manistee County Habitat for Humanity  and  Consumers Energy have teamed up  once again to provide financial support to Habitat affiliates  across the state of Michigan.  MANISTEE COUNTY HABITAT FOR HUMANITY has set a local goal of $25,000 to help fund critical housing needs in MANISTEE COUNTY.

Through the Power of Home campaign, Consumers Energy will donate $1 for every $2 raised through individual Habitat donations, up to $100,000.

Manistee County Habitat for Humanity has focused on assisting Manistee residents the ability to stay in their home with their Handicap Assessable Ramp Program and will complete a missing middle home in June and start another new home for a partner family at 80% of our area median income.

Manistee County Habitat for Humanity Board Member, Mick Symanski said, “Thanks to this match from Consumers Energy, & donors the funding will go further at a time when the ‘Power of Home’ is more important than ever.

In order to receive the Consumers Energy match, all donations must be made through this link beginning on April 1st, 2025.   This information is also available on the Manistee Habitat website at www.habitatmanistee.org.
